For the most up-to-date information about the status of our project, check our project updates on Kickstarter!

What are PSC Games producing in this Kickstarter?

We’re producing a brand new French Army expansion and a reprint of the core game, The Great War. They’ll be available as English, French, and Spanish language editions.

How do I select a French or Spanish language edition?

Choose your pledge level, and for now that is it! When you are sent our pledge manager survey at the end of the campaign, you’ll be able to select your language.

Do I need The Great War Centenary edition if I own the first printing?

No, you do not need to buy the Centenary edition if you own the original core game. If you’d like to buy a new copy, of course we won’t object, but really this is a second print run of the game so that it remains available for new players.

We’ve taken the opportunity to make a few cosmetic upgrades, and Richard Borg has clarified a few rules and updated how special personnel figures become casualties. When the game has been released, we will make the revised rulebook available as a free download.

The big change in the Centenary edition is to the plastic miniatures. We’ve listened to customer feedback and the figures will be made from semi-hard plastic and are supplied off the sprue – these 1:100 scale figures are now ready to play with and require no assembly. If you’d like to replace your old miniatures with these new ones without investing in a copy of the Centenary edition, check out our pledge levels.

I want two copies of the French Army expansion, how do I do that?

Select your pledge level and then increase your pledged money amount by the number of copies you want (so for the £50 Veteran pledge, change your amount to £100 if you want two copies, £150 if you want three copies, and so on).

When you are sent our pledge manager survey at the end of the campaign, you’ll be able to select your second copy of the expansion.

You can do the same whether you want two, three, twelve, or ninety-nine copies!

I’d like to add French tanks/the new cards to my pledge, how do I do that?

All you need to do for now is to increase the amount you’re pledging by GBP £16.50 per French tank pack and by GBP £6.99 per card deck. You do not need to change your pledge level.

When the Kickstarter campaign ends, you will be able to select your tanks/cards using the pledge manager survey we’ll sent out. You’ll also be able to choose English, French, or Spanish language for the cards decks.

How many French tank packs will I need to play the new French tank scenarios?

The scenarios will be thoroughly playtested before we release them - so this information may change - but at the moment we are expecting no more than either two Schneiders or two Saint Chamonds in a scenario.

A tank pack contains one Schneider and one Saint Chamond, so you will need no more than two tank packs to play all of the scenarios.

I backed the original French language edition of The Great War – what should I do?

PSC Games are honouring our long-standing agreement with the French-language backers from our first The Great War Kickstarter. If you pledge for a copy of the French language French Army expansion and confirm your original backer number we will send to you free of charge a copy of the French language The Great War Centenary edition.

Shipping will be calculated via our pledge manager survey.

Last updated: November 23, 2017 00:40

When are PSC Games planning to ship the games?

The estimated shipping date is June 2018, but please keep in mind this is only an estimate. We will keep our backers updated on any changes. Also, due to the logistics of international shipping, backers in some regions of the world may receive their rewards sooner than others.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
